Kathleen-
Yes, I too have started using the clear plastic newspaper sleeves with the label completely taped onto to store my stablizers.
I 95% of the time purchase Sulky's large 12" X 11 yds.rolls that come in the "hard case plastic package". I store my stablizer in a scrapbook paper organzier drawer system which is 12.25" X 12.25" inside each drawer. Sulky's plastic package is too long and high for the rolls to fit in a drawer. By removing their package and placing the stablizer into the newspaper sleeve I am able to store 4 FULL roll in a drawer.
I also save the cardboard rolls and if I ever have to purchase the small folded up packages - I immediately unfold them and place them on the cardboard roll. I find this method really helps smooth out the fold creases. It also works for the scraps of stablizers - I use the ponytail holders to keep them on the roll.

What a great way to reuse the plastic sleeves and organize at the same time. Thanks for the great tip. Keep recycling!
