An Angel Never Forgotten
     Released August 7, 2008

Margie shares:

I love this frame I could not wait to stitch it out .
I had just the right pic to put in it
My son past away in 1999 from S.I.D.S he was only 2 months old .
That was the hardest thing I have ever been through.

Thank you Cindy for making this design up .

Love & Hugz

  1. When I designed & created this frame, I thought of the pictures of parents and grandparents and possibly someone who lost their life defending our country. I truly never expected to see this. Thank You Margie, I am truly touched to be given such an honor!

  8. Margie,
What courage! And I would know, I also lost my only child in 2006. Seeing this wonderful design has inspired me to stitch one for myself and friends. Thank you for sharing you beautiful son with your fellow stitcher. God bless you!

  9. What a beautiful baby! I know that he is one of heaven’s most treasured angels. I had a life long freind who lost a bay to SIDS in 1983 and it was the hardest thing that she ever went through. It is that you lose a part of your future. I hope that God has blessed you since your loss.

  10. What a GORGEOUS CHILD!!!! So sorry for your loss-I can’t imagine what you’ve been through. I know that God doesn’t give us more than we can handle but that has to be the hardest thing a person can go through! Wish you love, much encouraged faith and prayers!

    Beautiful work on the frame!

  11. What a beautiful child, I’m so sorry for your loss. I hope knowing you’ll be reunited with your son someday, brings some comfort to you and lessens the pain in your heart.

  12. my little sister died in 1970 of sids. this gives me an idea of something to do for my mother for Christmas. Even though it was so long ago, i still feel that loss. I also may do one for the memory quilt i am making for my cousin who lost her daughter to cancer at 29 a couple years ago.

  13. beautiful picture frame, I too lost my 16 year old son this past July,my heart goes out to you, thanks for sharing, this gives me an ideal of what to give my mother and his other grandmother for christmas.

  14. I donate burial garments to local hospitals, for tiny babies. The charity is Newborns In Need. I purchased this frame to include in with a memory envelope that is given to the parents. There is no place for a parent to purchase a garment for a 3lb. baby.

  15. Could you tell me where to purchuse this frame? My grandson was stillborn and I would love to have it. It is so beautiful. Thanks Bonnie

  16. A masterpiece! One of your greatest accomplishments! To have this precious angel,
    A memory to cherish.

  17. I love this design. Thanks Cindy. I lost my oldest son in 2004. He was 22. Since then I have purchased a boy angel figurine each christmas. I haven’t used my embroidery machine since his death. I just purchased a year membership here, and this was the second project I clicked on. I think it is just what I needed to get me to actually use my machine again, instead of just getting designs and filing them away. This year I will put a picture of Timmy in this frame and put it up on my fire place mantel with all my angels.

  20. Margie,

I can’t image going through such a trying time as losing a child you have given your son an awesome memorial, His little heart shines in heaven with Jesus knowing his mommy and daddy are such awesome people. May God always keep you under his wing and I praise you for sharing such a wonderful picture with all of us. Your son is very proud of you!!!

  24. I have read each and every coment here, and cried the whole time, but that is what mothers do. I can not understand your loss, I have 2 fine sons and if God is willing they will out live me… You have done a wonderful Job on this and gives me ideas for gifts for family members that have experienced this loss.. May God Bless you.

  25. What a beautiful blanket / memory for you. This would be perfect for my son/daughter-in-law. I love my 3 month old grandson a year ago 12/19/07 - he didn’t make it through his heart-surgery.

Actually I’m trying to think of something similar to make more for my 3 yr old granddaughter (his big sister) than the parents, she talks of Harley often, even a year later.

  28. what a wonderful idea as my friend lost her only grandaughter she was to be born on the 17th march but had the embilical cord around her neck so the mother wouldn’t give bith to her and carried her for another week and then went and delivered her without any one knowing even her husband only one photo was taken on her camera, the mother isn’t a christian but said that God thought she was too good for this world, so I am so sorry for your loss also and may God continue to bless you as you have helped to support others through this lovely design how can I obtain this design so I am able to do this for my friend when she gets the photo of this precious child.
God Bless my prayers are with you and everyone who is grieving at this time.

  30. I too know how your loss hurts. its been 29 years ago but it seems like yesterday. It never seems to go away even after all these years but i know that one day i will see her again. She lived 10 days and that was just not enough. I still cry at times but then i put my Big girl pants on and try to dill with it. May God be with you cause without him i don’t know if i could have gone through it by myself. You did a wonderful job and it makes me smile inside to know that you too smile in your heart. YOU know what i mean. God be with you and smile all of your days here on earth.
    Your friend,
    Sandra

  31. It’s amazing how so many people have expressed their sorrow of loss to you as you have to them through your design, it’s a treasure piece. I too have lost a baby. 30 years ago I had a stilborn baby girl, I carried he 5 weeks knowing she was dead before the Doc. delivered her. For reasons that were never figured out,the dr. had no answer for me. I never got to see her before she was buried nor did any take a picture of her for me.Oh if I had a picture of her I would surely want to make her that frame. God bless you
