PLEASE READ ALL INSTRUCTIONS FOR EACH BOWL BEFORE STARTING
Materials List:
Fabric of your choice for front, back and Applique hearts
Med weight Tear-a-way or Heavy wash-a-way
Threads to match (it is usually best to use thread that matches your base fabrics for you tack down stitching).
Optional—tem-tex or Wal-Mart has a stiff stabilizer similar to the tem-tex but it’s a little thinner and easier to work with, this is what I usually use this as it is also cheaper than timtex.
Bottom01 & HeartSide011. Hoop tear-a-way or wash-a-way stabilizer sew the first color(this is the outline placement stitch). Take hoop off the machine spray with temporary spray adhesive and place the timtex or similar stiff stabilizer on hoop then spray again and place material over that making sure that all the outline stitching is covered.
2. Replace hoop on machine and stitch next color (this will tack down the stabilizer and fabric in place)
3. Color change 3 thru 7 is for the design on bowl, stitch these out using color change sheet or use the colors of your choice.
4. Remove hoop from machine and spray back of hoop with temp. spray and press back fabric to hoop.
5. Replace hoop on machine and stitch out next color change (this attach back to other layers).
6. Remove hoop and trim fabric from front and back being careful not to clip threads.
7. Replace hoop on machine and stitch the last color which is the finish satin stitch.
Bottom02 & HeartSide02

3. Color change 3 is placement stitches for the hearts. Stitch this out then lay your fabric in place and stitch color change 4(this will tack down fabric). Remove hoop from machine and trim around hearts.
4. Replace hoop and stitch 5 thru 7 (these are the satin stitching around the hearts.
5. Remove hoop from machine and spray back of hoop with temp. spray and press back fabric to hoop.
6. Replace hoop on machine and stitch out next color change (this attach back to other layers).
7. Remove hoop and trim fabric from back being careful not to clip threads.
8. Replace hoop on machine and stitch the last color which is the finish satin stitch.
Bottom04 & HeartSide04
1. Hoop tear-a-way or wash-a-way stabilizer sew the first color (this is the outline placement stitch). 3. Color change 3 is placement stitches for the heart. Stitch this out then lay your fabric in place and stitch color change 4(this will tack down fabric). Remove hoop from machine and trim around heart.
4. Color change 5 thru 12 are for the heart design, stitch as you choose
5. Remove hoop from machine and spray back of hoop with temp spray and place
fabric on back and replace hoop on machine and stitch next color change (this will
attach back to front).
6. Remove hoop and trim back fabric being careful not to clip threads.
7. Replace hoop on machine and stitch the last color which is the finish satin stitch.
Bottom05 & HeartSide05

Attaching Pieces
Stitch out bottom and 6 sides for each bowl.
Line up bottom and side corners and then use a zig-zag stitch to attach sides to bottom.
Then pull sides together and starting at inside bottom of bowl zig-zag out to end.
