A  friend of mine went to a costume event not tong ago. As part of her  outfit, she needed an armband with some text and a small design. So, of  course, I made one for her. Afterward, she told me how the armband had  attracted  the attention of someone who runs a monthly social event.  It  turns out she had been looking at having armbands made for various  staff members to wear, to show their jobs. To make a long story short, I  wound up with a commission to make a number of armbands. These zipper cases are totally done in the hoop, no extra sewing is required.
Supplies:
â€¢Â Â  Â Fabric scraps for tissue cases cut as follows:
â€¢Â Â  Â Left and right sides - two pieces measuring 5 x 6 inches (12.5 x 15 cm) each, fold in half to 2.5 x 6 inches (6.25 x 15 cm), wrong sides together and press a nice crisp fold line.
â€¢Â Â  Â Backing piece: 5 x 6 inches (12.5 x 15 cm)
â€¢Â Â  Â Felt for padding, which is sandwiched between the folded left and right fabric pieces (this is optional and not required).
