Creative Thread Storage

By Dorothy Kregar

I purchased the 61 embroidery thread.  What a wonderful deal!
My tip for viewing all the thread is, I purchased a Hanging Jewelry Organizer”.  It holds 30 spools on one side and another thirty plus on the reverse side.  Each pocket is clear so you can see the colors.  I put all my thread into the plastic containers.  The bottom of each side also has three larger pockets.  I think it’s great.  Keeps the thread clean and untangled.

This is the first time ever I have commented on a project on the net but I thought that this was such a great idea. It has got my imagination going to make it roll for taking cottons to my sewing group and classes. Many thanks

I live in Florida and purchased the storage organizer at STEIN MART STORE. It possibly can be found in jewelry depts or hosiery dept.

This is a great idea – I have also used that exact same thing for all my notions for years and the best part is that you can visibly see them without thumbing through drawers!

  8. This is genuinely a wonderful info. An document similar to this shows precisely how greatly the concept is actually appreciated by creator.

    I like this idea too!

I’ve just got a bias tape maker so I am going to make my own with vinyl and bias tape. That way I can make it the size that will fit on my wall. I have my work room walls covered in peg boar and have had my embroidery thread on pegs but this will make it easier to see the colors and take care of the end of the threads.

Thank you for giving me such a great idea!
