Making our tools fit our hands as they age is important to lessen pain, make our tools easier to use, and to help avoid hand fatigue.
Here’s a hint for those who do a lot of cutting with a rotary cutter.
I make the handle larger by adding a foam rubber grip (this is the same as the foam rubber often added to hand tools available online http://www.gripworks.com/rubber-grips.htm or from some of the hardware or home improvement centers) which are soft and inexpensive.
As an alternative, you can also use a piece of foam that is meant for covering water pipes because it has a slit in it and will often fit the handles as well (dependent on what type of handle you have).

Thanks for the tip. I use my rotary cutter a lot, so I am planning to look into getting an add on foam grip.

What a great idea. At times I have trouble wrapping my hands tight enough around the cutter. Will definately check this out.
