When making decorative pillows using store bought pillow forms, I have found the pillow is easier to push into the decorative cover, if you leave the plastic covering on the pillow while pushing it in.
I tear a small hole in the plastic on the side I am pushing in, so when the pillow is in the cover and adjusted, I can simply pull on the plastic and it will tear away and come out.
The slippery plastic cover makes the pillow go into the sham a whole lot easier, especially if you have a small opening to get the pillow into.

Fantastic Idea!!!!!

What a great idea, and I just finished doing an
Always Kiss Me Goodnight pillow for my sister and brother in law. I will have to try it the next time.
Thanks for sharing a great idea.

Yes, and if you have large sofa pillows to recover, put them in a dry cleaner bag, stuff it, then remove the bag. It works very well!

You can also use a scarf. Those with the really slick surface work great, and, you don’t have to tug to get out, it just slips right away.
