Fabric Storage for Large Projects

by Lorie

While working on my Rose of Sharon quilt I found it helpful to label a sample of each fabric with the coordinating number & description of each fabric as there were so many fabrics.  Then storing it in the small organizer helped me keep all the fabric straight.  I got this organizer at Michaels. It has 13 expandable slots and is held secured by an expandable band.  I needed 2 of these for my Rose project!

A great idea. Usually with some of my projects I will find a container in which I can store the fabric and items I need for it. If I do get sidetracked on to another project I can safely store the first project until I can get back to it.
