For quick gift ideas - when I sew out embroidery designs for someone
to choose from for their own projects, I sew them out on 20 inch
squares. The person I’m working with, then chooses what they want, we
change colors, etc., but then I have squares that are large enough for
my own projects, i.e., pillows or quilt squares.
I save these and when I need something in a hurry, I just go through
all my “ready-made” pieces, and I’m on my way to the perfect quick gift.

Excellent idea…The 20” block could also be used to a “sample” book, simply slide it in to sheet protectors and place in 3 ring binder. Thanks!

Thanks for this great idea. I’ll put this to use immediately. This will be much clearer and easier than my hand written notes in a file.

I use napkins for testing patterns maybe one pattern per set, and then let frends and family to chose what they want.
