I use the rubberized shelf liner for almost everything. I started using it in my RV to prevent things from sliding around in the cabinets. Now I use it to keep my hoop from sliding when hooping tight items, and anything I am working on that tends to go skittering across my oak table that needs to stay put.

GREAT Idea!! I'm usually half under my sewing table before I realize why I can't reach my sewing machine--and my right leg has grown 2 inches from unconciously trying to keep my foot on the pedal.

My pedal has stick on velcro the hook end under it as I brought it second hand and it came on it.
It grips the Carpet well.

I had some of the rubber shelf liner, that I cut down to size and glued to the foot. It stays put great, and goes with the foot to classes as it is glue on.
