I enjoyed your article.. Sewing rooms are always in need of attention.. But oh how we love the work we do in them …to mess them up.. Thankyou for the links of ideas.
I loved the anonymous #4′s new year resolution.. Wow… what an organized idea.. and I love that you included yourself in a week.. I too, buy loads of fabric and make for my grandkids and daughter, but never for myself.. So its time to schedule “me” in too.. thankyou.. God bless each.. Judy

I have a plan this year — a bit like a New Year’s resolution, but with more teeth. The week of the 25th of each month I will embroider and sew things for next year’s Christmas presents. The first week of the month will be taking care of Birthday gifts for family and friends — I have three kids and five grandkids and hoardes of nieces and nephews too! All at the baby making stage. lol.
The second week of the month I am sewing for me! The gal at our local fabric store said the other day — you buy all this beautiful fabric for suits and dresses but all I see you in is jeans and t-shirts” Hmmm… That is because I was hoping to loose a few pounds before I sewed up that silk dupioni suit… No more I am making myself a new wardrobe. The final week I will sew for my 16 yearold daughter who loves dresses and participates in pageants. She needs a new interview suit and formal almost every year. So that is my plan, I might have to go to meetings to stick to it but that its.

The holidays may be over according to the calender, but, for me Christmas and the holidays are all year round! I love sewing Christmas stuff all year! It keeps me in the spirit! I never want to loose it. Brenda
