Photo Please

by GrannieJo

I used the Pansies and Violets 1 to make theseĀ  4 x 6 photo album covers.
I was especially excited to find fabric that coordinated so well.
As a matter of fact a new great niece is due in 2011 and this would make a great shower gift to take or fill with shower photos and give it to the new mommy.
This also a great way to use up those samples that we all stitch out as a trial.

The Pansies and Violets 1 can be seen here.

I love your idea. Back in the late 80′s I also made covered photo albums. But that was long before I started to machine embroidery. My main cover was pig skin leather with a wildlife print on the cover bordered with a cord of a color that matched. These sold very well at that time. I no longer do shows, but have been thinking of making some for my family. Thanks for bring back an old memory.
