I used the 5×7 hoop and I have a Singer Futura machine so the hoop is smaller and is not an actual 5×7. Sandy OH

I used a lightweight stablizer to stitch the blocks and then sewed them together. Each block is a 4 blocks sewn together after the design is stitched. The center block is 16 single blocks sewn together. Since I am fairly new to this I am not sure how to put this together so that it would show on both sides. If there is someone out there who has been doing this longer maybe they can help. On this quilt I used a polyester batting when I put the three layers together. I wanted a puffier look. I wish I could have been more help but hopefully someone will be able to help on having the design show on both sides. Sandy OH

Hi Sandi,
Did you sew the design on just fabric or did you use batting and backing too? I want to try quilting with some of these designs and don’t know what batting to use so it looks good on the back side too. I would appreciate your help.I really like the way you framed the design with the pink and purple frames.
