The holes are stitched in the pattern. After the design is sitched out. Take small pointy sissors and poke a hole through the material or cut the inside of the circle out.

Hope this helps.

I made a dozen for my primary class to use with the chocolate suckers I made. What a hit! One of my little girls wondered, "You made these teacher?" It made me realize how little children receive of our time and energy any more. They may be young, but they understand the extra love that goes into it.

I used these last week for my son's cubscout pack (he's the den chief). I used camo to sew them out on and the boys loved them.

I just love the sucker holders.Thanks Rhonda for offering such a cute design..
 My grandaugter's birthday is in May.. And she is into the BFF big time. I am going to make some of the BFF and 4 ever sucker holders. Her mom will add them to each place setting at the birthday party table.. for an extra decorating addition.[we can match fabrics to her part colors. Then afterwards, a little gift for each of the girls. Emily will love it.. She is so into handmade things.. she loves sewing and embroidering..[a grandaughter affer my own heart}
 Again thanks Rob and staff of Designs by sick for all the designs you give us and the Articles.. I look everyday for a new one.. Love, love,love reading them and getting such wonderful ideas from other people for the new designs.
God bless.Judy Roberson

I did this a couple years ago, but used felt, and instead of the satin stitch outline I used a triple stitch, then cut the shape out afterwards with pinking shears. Was a very quick project to do (I did 200) and gave them away with suckers, of course. My husband put his heart on my car's aerial, thereby giving it a secondary purpose, and very soon everyone who had received one was driving around with it on their car's aerial!
[Editor's Note: I LOVE it when new uses are discovered for projects! This open up a world of possibilities!
