I save all my tiny scraps and the excess thread from my
serger, sewing machine and embroidery machine. When I have
a project that requires stuffing, all my snippets and tiny
scraps are recycled as stuffing for a pillow blanket or
whatever.
I also save my stablizer scraps. I tape or sew pieces
together to cover the hoop for a new project. The water
soluble stabilizer can be lightly moistened and brushed on
to a new project. Happy recycling.

If you stuff your vileen scrps into a bag like I do, and then want to straighten it out to reuse: I have found out that you can safely iron vileen with a cool dry ironto smooth it out.

I also have a needle felting machine, that I use to put pieces of batting together. This is great for small projects, like pillows and quilted bags.

THIS IS A GREAT IDEA, I keep this thinking I will use it for SOMETHING, and never do. Thanks

What came to me several years ago when I had to be at the hospital with my husband so he could spend time with is mother was:
1. If there wasn’t very many people around, I could cut out my fabric using a larger and high table.
2. I could put my time to use, therefore staying in a better mood.
3. I reused (and bought tin cans that were marked down (like a $1.00 or 2) to put my already cut picies in ready to be sown. I also labled my cans with pattern, pices.
4. I also reused the selvege picies to reap around some to the piecies deviding them up. I also used sticky notes also.
Therefore when you got home and had a spare time you could put it to good reat.
