Hmm, unfortunately I'd say it comes to trial and error. when you can find a little bit of time, perhaps guess and make post it labels accordingly? Then when you have a specific project you want to work on, you will have at least narrowed it down to which ones you need. When you figure out exactly what one is, you could label it in a more permanent way such as a bag with a label from a label maker, a pin with a piece of cloth with the type written in permanent marker, or clear bags with the type written in permanent marker. I purchased wire bins from storesupply.com and assembled them with opening facing out. They are 14" x 14" and can be stacked. Mine are 5 high. I hooked them to the wall at the top for safety.
