I put them on wooden hangers with a curved end (to avoid points at the shoulders) and after I pull them to the appropriate length, I air-dry them. Otherwise they shrink to the length my DD (who is 5'4") could use. I'm 5'9", and I don't need waist-length shirts! As a youngster (MANY moons ago) I also loved Ragged Ann and Andy Dolls . Unfortunately mine got lost in a move long ago. A lady that later went blind made them for me.
