Hi Y'all! I hail from Texas, between Houston and Galveston, so I have the best of both worlds as a crafter, embroiderer and sewer. A large city which offers many wonderful resources and the friendliness of a small city, where they know me by name at the local fabric store!

As a mother of two young children and someone fairly new to the world of machine embroidery, I have can offer a novice view to this intriguing hobby. I have written articles for the Designs by Sick newsletter on a variety of topics from organizing your sewing room to a newbie's first embroidery machine shopping experience.

I learned to sew as a very young child by helping my mother (probably more of a hindrance) and it must be in the blood, because even my 2 year old daughter is interested in "making things" with me, and loves to push the start button on my Brother ULT 2003.

I enjoy everything machine embroidery has to offer, especially the connections I have made with others from all over the world!
