Thanks, Windstar. A neat idea to have a project of the week. Looking forward to what will be next. In the instructions, though, I didn't quite understand the step with the elastic. Could someone explain that to me?

I read and reread and reread...no elastic mentioned. It did mention a piece of plastic that you can glue to the back of the doll for long time use.

That was a great article Heidi wrote. I didn't see anything about elastic either. Maybe I should go read it again. It's been since yesterday when I got the newsletter, so I probably need to re-read the whole article.
Molly thanks bunches for posting this. I never think to do that for those who don't subscribe to the newsletter. Glad you did. Last edited by watermelon; 2 Weeks Ago at 01:50 PM. Reason: Re-read the article and still didn't see elastic mentioned. :-) |

[QUOTE=jstitch; and my blind eye wasn't quite awake yet. Ha ha, I feel silly.
I don't know why you would feel silly. If only you knew half the things my eyes have misread or misthought, you'd laugh yourself silly like in the Digitizing subforum there is a thread that says Need a Monogram and the first time I saw it I thought it said Need a Mammogram. Now how do you feel. |

Glad you shared. I do stuff like that all the time and just sit here and laugh to myself.

So I am not alone in my mis-reads.What about trying to read a road atlas to determine which road to use and you can't see the thin red line through the middle of the burn't orange highway and think you should be on a nice clear 4 lane divided road and your are winding through the countryside on a 2 lane snake behind an overloaded tractor trailer. And your DH is ready to kill you because he knows this is not the right road ....But he doesn't know what the right road is....So after2 1/2 hours of drenching rain falling leaves fog s dead skunks everywhere I find my reading glasses and see that this road is indeed a 2 lane road and reroute us to a main highway. At least the ride was ENTERTAINING.....if you know what I mean.

The paper dolls are cute. I recently purchased them and wondered if I would ever have the where with all to actually make them. If I know how to do them then they become less intimadating. Thanks for the link. I sometimes forget there are some posted on the site.
