It is of course always possible that you don't want them ravenstreamer LOL!
Did you have PAPER paper dolls when you were little? The sort that you colored yourself, and stuck on cardboard, and cut out, and cut out clothes and hats etc. with tabs to fold over to hold the clothes onto the doll? Well if you have an idea of what I'm talking about, you will realize that ME 'paper dolls' are actually FELT dolls (usually), and the interchangeable clothes can adhere to the doll with a 'low tack' spray-on glue coating that will allow a child to dress and un-dress and dress again many times. I will be making several dolls for my Grand-daughter's Christmas stocking this year, and feel pretty confident that they will be appreciated. |

Yes with my granddaughters the dolls are a big hit. I am even making the boy set for my grandson this year. I make them on puffy foam. Then I use Aleen's Tack-It Over and Over. Have fun with them.

Aha! I knew I wanted them!
I spent a thousand hours a day with my paper paper dolls when I was growing up, and had no better fun than the glamorous world of imagination being a movie star or a high-powered fashion model or the best-loved girl next door. What was throwing me with the embroidered ones was how did the clothes stay on the doll. Felt - of course! Why didn't I think of that? I know all about felt boards for layout for quilting. OK - now I gotta get paper doll sets. See how this addiction of ours works? LOL!!! |
