The best book I've read on natural remedies is Back to Eden by Jethro Kloss. I discovered this book 20+ years ago and love it.

I had honey on my toast this morning.

i have to stay away from sick people my lungs are still healing so today it was sew sew sew got quite a few blocks done still not enough to finish the center of my quilt but at least im working on it again im haveing fun so that is what counts

Cheryla, I am so happy to hear that you are back to being able to do the things you enjoy and that you are having fun. You had me scared there for a while.

At the moment I am sitting at the computer catching up on posts and things. But in a few minutes I am going to be sitting on the patio having my breakfast overlooking the beautiful False Bay in Cape Town South Africa. It is a perfect day ,sunny with no wind. The sea is a beautiful aquamarine and the waves are rolling into the shore. I am very blessed to live in such beauty. Cheryl

I did not know that honey is a natural antibiotic. Any piticular type and or brand?

any honey. it's not depending on the flowers/polls, but the bees themselves. the highest amount of these antibiotic components are to be found in propolis. see http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Propolis
