      Default Last Supper

I got this design set from Skeldale Yahoo group and have been meaning to stitch it out for sometime now and today I decided it was the day to do it. I had a bit of input from my dear hubby on fabric to use and colors. When I first started on it I was not feeling like it would work out very well, but I continued on without changing anything. After getting this far with it, I really like the way the colors work. I still need to add another border to it and then I am thinking I will put it in a frame of some sort, rather than making a quilted wall hanging. I think that this would make a nice gift for some of my family and friends and I am planning on stitching it out again tomorrow on different fabric and colors.

I have completed my second Last Supper project. This one I did with black fabric and gold thread.

      Hope you all like it.

Beautiful sageroze. Whoever gets this is a very lucky person. You do need to send this to Skeldale House so that she can post it if she wants.

Is this applique or is it all thread? You can stitch it all out in one day? I have to go find that design and look at it. It is really nice.

Well done, Cheryl, I love the colours you used!

I stitched mine out on felt and used black thread - that was many years ago when I didn't know too much about embroidery. My friend framed it and it is hanging in her diningroom.

Total stitches is 119 810, Chris, but I can't tell you how long it takes to stitch out.
