I clicked for trees happy to have another Fall day for us. Yesterday I tried out our seat heaters also.....and I agree La Cole, that felt wonderful! I guess we're all having temps going up and down in the same 24 hours.

Nice day today, high's in the mid 70's F. Tomorrow we'll drop down to high's of high 50's-low 60's.

Wow, La Cole! How many walnut trees do you have? I don't envy you the job of raking all the leaves or picking up the walnuts. The nuts you get are really labor-intensive, aren't they?
I clicked for trees to be planted to replace those lost.

The birds certainly are drawn to the tree--whether it has leaves or no--they get a "bird's eye view. Click.

Nuts still on the ground will likely spoil beneath wet leaves in the rain predicted to fall for the next 4 days. Magpies and mice likely will be well fed this winter--wish they would also clean up the horse chestnuts. Click.

I've made my click for trees thinking about the oak tree we planted in memory of my Dad in 1976. It is a big, beautiful tree and a lasting memory of a special Dad.

I have a start of an apricot tree from my childhood home. It's a shoot from the root so we don't know what kind of fruit to expect in a few more years. Click.

The year my Dad died his family had owned the farm for 100 years. I have some violets and a white lilac from there which also give me a little taste of my home place. I clicked for trees for future generations.

A surprise fruit tree sounds like fun La Cole!
