Default easy corn on the cob

If you want an easy way to cook corn on the cob and not have any silk threads left in kernels. Do not husk the corn. Cut off an inch and a half of the butt end of the cob and microwave it for three minutes. When it is done microwaving use potholders to take it out and pull off the husk. The silk strands will pull out with the husk. This is the best way I've ever found of cooking corn on the cob.

      Default corn on the cob

A friend told me to try thaat, but she said to cut the bottom off AFTER it was cooked, and they were too hot to do it then. I will try it your way next.

I have tried this method the past summer. I am cooking just for me, so did one at a time. I cut the bottom off after cooking, holding the ear with a pot holder. Made me so happy to have corn on the cob so quickly and easily.
