      Default Direction

Please, pray for me to find the direction of my talents. I have survived 2 near-death experiences in the last 2 years and feel that God has something for me to do. My thoughts are all scattered, as to which direction I should head in. Just please, pray that He lets me know , soon. I get so frustrated with all of the things I want to do and need to do. Priorities have eluded me.
      Thank you,
      LouAnne

LouAnne, write down everything you like doing, then pick one that you were really really good at. Do a really small project, so that the gratification of doing it is quick. Slowly progress to bigger projects and see how you feel about it then.

About the need to do, make a list and start with the small things. Set aside a specific time during the day you feel comfortable with and tick everything off as you do it. Your list will become shorter and you will feel better about everything.

      Prayers going up for you

LouAnne - the key word in your post is 'survived'. That is a big thing, and will have used a lot of your strength and will power, so you need to treat yourself with kindness. Every thing that you accomplish will be a testament to your faith and gratitude, so just carry on and accomplish stuff! If you start in one direction and don't get the 'spark' to see it through, try something else. Give yourself the freedom to have a go.

Lou Anne, God has kept you alive for a reason so listen to your heart and move in that direction. I pray that you find the way he wants you to go and am more at peace with yourself.

Good ideas. Thanks for your response. I went to your site and like the designs, too. When I prove that I'm going to use the embroidery machine, more; he will let me buy some of the designs that I want for specific projects.
Thank you for your prayers, too.

LouAnne, don't set out to prove yourself to anyone - that is the wrong way to go about things and a pretty sure road to downfall!

Just do things for yourself. Even if you don't succeed with the first try, it's OK. The fact remains you have tried and as long as you have given it your best, that is all that matters. The key factor is you HAVE to give it your best.

My hubby is sort-of helping me get my ducks in order. He is fixing me another craft room, outside of the house. It has been nearly 5 years since we moved from the big house on the lake and all of my supplies went into the storage building. I have found most of my machine embroidery things and have lined up some projects I can do in the family room. This has inspired him to build the carport into a craft room. Bless his heart.

LouAnne, congratulations on getting your very own sepaate and much needed studio. I'm so glad that you are starting to do things that you love again. Please post pics of your project whether simple or complex to help inspire others that want to get back into things.
