      Default Which machine for lingerie?

I am beginning a new project, which consists in making lingerie and nursing bra's for big sizes, but with ecologic cotton. I have in mind something like this, but I have a Brother PE770 5x7 and it does not see good enough to me. I am ready to buy a new one, but I would like to know which one would be best for e and my needing. I am not an expert yet, I am rather just at the beginning, so every suggestion and advice is more than appreciated!

      Hi
I love my Pfaff, but if I were you I would go to a dealer and have them demonstrate the different machine with the feet you will need to use to make lingerie. Some of the different machines have feet that allow you to sew closer to the edge of the material. Other feet allow you to put elastic on at the correct stretch and evenly through the whole seem. And you probably want a cording foot and ribbon foot. You may be surprised that your machine can do all that you want to do with the right feet. And sticking with the same brand machine for your new machine means that all your old hoops and feet are interchangeable. I would go to the Brother site and check out what they have for feet for your machine. Then have your dealer demonstrate the different machines with the different feet. Hope this helps. Post pictures when you get something made!

Liannebouwer1985, first off welcome to DBS. Your machine is a embroidery only machine and can't do any sewing to make anything except designs that are digitized to be made in the hoop. What you need is a sewing machine and I would definitely go to a dealer and have them show you what is available for what you want to do. I have a Janome sewing machine and I love it and I can get most of the feet that is available on all machines. This is only something that you can check out in person by going to several different dealers and talking to everyone. Don't buy the first machine you see.

Liannebouwer1985 this doesn't answer your questions about which machine. But I found this class on making lingerie and thought you and others might be interested in it. It is currently on sale.
