    Exclamation PE770

    I have a PE770 and everytime I go to embroider anything my needle ALWAYS BREAK! Can anybody tell me how to fix this? I have emailed Brother about the issue but no response. SO PLEASE SOMEBODY HELP ME!!!

    SayVion2017, first off welcome to Designs by Sick forum. Sorry for the delay in answering your question. I don't have a Brother machine, but when I googled your problem, I found some sites that might offer you help.

    This is directly from Brother itself:

    Good luck in getting your machine to work properly. Once it does, you will be hooked on machine embroidery. I know I am and have been doing it for 13 years.

    It could be that your thread is being caught on the spool. it puts tension on the needle and the needle snaps. Check you thread comes off the spool cleaning and is not getting caught on it. on some spools there is nick on the bottom.

    I am so sorry I did not see this before. Mine does the same thing! I have had it in the shop 3 times and it still does it. I have switched to heavier needles. But as mentioned, if the thread gets stuck the needle will break. Mine also has a place indie that easily snags thread, there is no controlling this. I have had parts replaced and it still does it!
