      Has anyone had trouble with the satin stitch not being in the right position, then applique comes apart

      I have not stitched this...you should contact Rob with this issue and ask that the set be taken down and fixed...here is the link to the set I believe you are referencing...it always helps to post a link...

      I have looked at some of the letters in stitch simulator and there doesn't seem to be a problem with the stitch positions. It may need to have a firmer stabilier, or more layers, so that the work doesn't shift in the hoop.
      If I were to need one of these designs I would probably edit in SewwhatPro to add a zigzag stitch under the satin stitches to give them more of a foundation.

      You are right that it could be a matter of stabilization...and a good suggestion for Janetta to try if not done so already. However, if stabilization is not the problem....the design set should be taken down and fixed by the digitizer...it should not be the responsibility of the purchaser of the design to fix a poorly digitized design if that, indeed, is the problem...and not everyone has access to software to fix..
