      Default Son having finger surgery

My son smashed his right index finger a few weeks ago but it is not healing. Tomorrow he will have surgery with the hopes of saving it by having a rod inserted. The surgeon prepared him for possible amputation--between the nail and first joint--during his pre-op meeting. I get to spend the day transporting the granddaughters around.

Prayers for your son, that the surgeon will be able to save his finger. Drive safe while transporting your precious cargo around town.

Surgery completed and son already back home. So far, tip of finger has been saved. It continues to amaze me of how quickly one recovers from surgery these days! The granddaughters were a dream, as usual, for me.
